The BMW Car Club of Victoria (BMWCCV) welcomes and brings together enthusiasts of the marque.

NOTE: Registered members on Club organised events are covered by the applicable Motorsport Australia insurances.

This includes substantial dealer discounts, extensive service options, loan vehicles, reduced rates on driver experience courses etc. in addition to the standard BMW offerings.
This was initially negotiated for BMWCCV members in 2019 by Past President Paul Weatherall and then subsequently expanded to include other BMW clubs Australia wide.
Special prices for members cover car maintenance and performance enhancements, body works, tyres, insurances, vehicle purchase, vehicle storage and more.

Sprints (8 to 9 events per year) are held at all major Victorian circuits (Sandown, Phillip Island, Winton).
BMWCCV members receive entry fee discounts and priority entry from the Marque Sports Car Association (MSCA) over non-members.
Group garage bookings enable substantial support and camaraderie.
The Club runs a friendly yet competitive Motorsport Championship each year.
Motorsport events are all run under the auspices of Motorsport Australia – the umbrella organisation for motorsport safety who provide some relevant insurance coverage for volunteers and drivers.
In 2021, the Club upgraded its Motorsport equipment which is available for loan to members. Equipment available includes in-car video cameras (GoPro 9 Hero Black), helmets, fire extinguishers, Frontal Head restraints, tyre pumps etc.
BMWCCV has a unique association with a professional driver training company, Evolve Driving, who is recognised as one of the best in their field. Their instructors have internationally recognised driver training accreditation.
Substantial discounts are offered by Evolve to members who register through the BMWCCV events portal for either defensive driver training courses or performance driver training.
Drivers at all levels have professional instruction and on-track training tailored to their needs.
The BMWCCV is also a member club of the Marque Sports Car Association (MSCA) and consequently receives discounts and priority registrations at ‘Come and Try’ sprint driver training days.
Our Club has six GoPro video cameras that can be borrowed. These equipment loans enable drivers to review their own track sessions and improve their driving skills.
BMWCCV also has on track videos stored on YouTube for drivers to view and learn from other drivers’ successes and error corrections.
Instructional videos are available on YouTube for members only and are accessed via the BMWCCV members portal.
The 54 videos encompass 80’s to 90’s cars and cover a broad range of topics to help both the beginner and experienced tinkerer to work on or understand their own vehicle.

They are reproduced from BMW VHS tapes that the club has collected over many years. There’s over a thousand hours of well-presented servicing information.
The club also operates a Club Permit Scheme which enables collectors of the Marque to drive their vehicles on a Club Permit at reduced cost.
Managed by the Club Permit Officer and supported by four authorised Committee members who are accessible at locations around Melbourne CBD and country Victoria.
Currently, vehicles 25 years or older from their compliance date are eligible for the CPS (Club Permit Scheme) in Victoria.
A glossy printed magazine is posted to members four times a year with great stories written by our members.
TopMarque includes many informative articles, photos of members cars, events attended and special offers from advertisers.
Members who submit an article gain points towards the ‘Member of the Year’ award.
